Woodland Rise is a ground-floor extension to a five-bedroom Edwardian mid-terrace home, designed to bring coherence to a challenging, multi-level site. Spanning four floors—including a basement cellar and loft conversion—the house needed a more intuitive flow to better suit family life.

The extension works with the home’s natural levels, creating distinct yet connected spaces. A piano nook sits within the dining area, offering a quiet retreat for music and reflection.

Externally, the garden façade is clad in porcelain tiles, with tall sliding doors and a large skylight drawing in natural light and framing views of the trees. The result is a seamless balance of old and new, where the architecture enhances everyday living.
