We were executive architects for Holyrood Cresent, two new social rent homes on a former garage site. The new homes are positioned parallel to the road to optimise the narrow site, ensuring each home has its own garden, parking, and private patio.

The material palette is inspired by the nearby 1960s housing, incorporating cream brick, weatherboard cladding, and quartz zinc to establish a harmonious connection with the surrounding context. On the north façade, a pair of angled oriel windows address overlooking concerns and create visual interest, enhancing both privacy and the architectural expression of the homes.
