Works:                     New Christmas lighting for Oxford Street

 

We submitted a proposal for Oxford Street illuminations 2018, a thought-provoking experience which takes you back in time a hundred years to 1918 – a year of great change and celebration.

 

Key events at the start and end of the year 1918 will bookend the installation; beginning with the end of suffrage at Marble Arch and culminating at the end of the Great War and families being reunited for Christmas towards Tottenham Court Road Station. The narrative between these events will unravel on the walking route along the spectacular Oxford Street illuminations, drawing you in at key locations to appreciate individual moments at an intimate scale.
