Our proposal for a residential development in Burneside, Cumbria for 43 new homes and a community facilities centred around a large community garden and allotments 

 

In Burneside, an intelligent understanding of modern working life is called for to combat the outward migration of young people. Emerging digital and creative industries offer a new format for the work life balance, which is in turn changing the way traditional working life looks like for everyone. Younger people demand a more cost effective and adaptive environment to than the traditional offer.

This has informed a simpler and more efficient build typology which affords more space for mixed amenity, and breadth for individual development and social engagement which are the
cornerstones for building a life and career.
